In our last post, we told you about our visit to a cherry blossom festival in Korea. Not long after we came back to Germany, we were intrigued to read about a blossom festival in the nearby town of Werder. Read on to learn how the two festivals compare!

Despite the obvious difference to the Korean blossom festival (less crowded, less of a party atmosphere and less selfies being taken but endless amounts of fruit wine consumed), we enjoyed our little trip to Werder and will be sure to come back next year!

Looks like a great place to go. We have a few places here that make fruit wine, I agree with you that it looks harmless but it’s quite potent!

How lovely is the city view and all photos are idyllic.
Indeed totally different atmosphere and let’s hope the characteristics you mentioned keep being absent in this festival!

I am rather surprised they haven’t arrived there yet. It’s so close to Berlin and the city is full of the me-and-my-drink-selfie type of persons. On the other hand, I have to admit that I also enjoyed the more pronounced enthusiasm for the blossoms in Korea.
