Passing through Milano

Milano’s magnificient cathedral is only a few subway stops from the central train station. With only one sad look at the overly long queue at the luggage deposit, we took the chance to visit the duomo and the splendid Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II during a short stopover on the way to the Alps.
